Student Intervention Services
The Student Intervention Service (SIS) team is housed under SCMIS and consists of interdisciplinary campus staff members including our non-clinical case managers.
The SIS Crisis On Call Team is staffed 24/7 and responds to active crisis and emergency.
Examples of active crisis are:
Active suicidal ideation
Unresponsiveness due to substance use
Physical injury requiring hospitalization
Imminent danger
Crisis surrounding basic needs (such as, homelessness within 48 hours)
Students, or anyone concerned about a student, experiencing active crisis can call the SIS crisis line at 404-430-1120.
Oxford students experiencing an emergency should call EPD at Oxford (770-784-8377) to reach the Residence Life Coordinator (RLC) on-call. The RLC on-call triages and will connect Oxford students to appropriate resources.For escalated emergency, danger, or medical crises please refer to these additional resources:
