Academic Support

Resources are available within each school for students who may need academic support or assistance. For more information, students are encouraged to contact their advisor or the Academic Support Services office for their school and/or academic program. 

Emory College of Arts and Sciences students should contact their assigned advisor through the Office for Undergraduate Education for support. A student’s advisor is listed in College Connect; if you are unsure of who your advisor is, you are encouraged to email oue.advising@emory.edu to be connected.

Oxford College students can reach out to the Advising Support Center to connect with academic advisors, faculty advisors and academic deans. 

The School of Medicine's Center for Holistic Student Success connects students with multiple resources to support their academic success and well-being. 

The Rollins School of Public Health Student Support Toolkit provides a comprehensive list of student resources. Students are encouraged to reach out to their instructors and/or their assistant/associate directors of academic programs (ADAPs) with questions related to coursework or if they are in need of academic support.

School of Nursing students should contact their program directors and administrators, or reach out to Arnita Howard, senior assistant dean for student affairs, or Gabrielle Woodard, Psy.D, the School of Nursing’s in-house psychologist, for support.

The School of Law has a wide range of academic support resources available to students. 

Candler School of Theology students are encouraged to reach out to Shelly Hart, senior director of academic administration and registration; Teresa Fry Brown, associate dean of academic affairs; or Allison Henderson-Brooks, assistant dean of students, regarding academic support services. 

The Laney Graduate School has an online hub of resources available to graduate students.
