Case Management

Our team provides supportive, non-clinical short-term case management services to students who are looking for support navigating challenges they may face during their time at Emory.

Student Case Management and Intervention Services helps undergraduate, graduate and professional students by connecting them to resources and support, advocating for academic success and promoting well-being.

Our range of case management support includes:

  • One-on-one student support and coordination
  • Connecting students with campus resources and staff based on the student’s unique situation
  • Fostering self-advocacy in students to manage their academic, personal and fiscal responsibilities
  • Building skills to enhance overall well-being
  • Offering resources and information to navigate university systems and policies

ASSESS - REFER - COORDINATE - SUPPORT

Case management services are generally initiated after a Student of Concern form is submitted for a student; however, students are encouraged to submit a self-referral if they need support.

A case manager will meet with you to have a conversation and hear from you directly what’s happening.

We will connect you to resources tailored to your specific needs, let you know the correct office/person to contact, and guide you in finding assistance.

Our team can directly introduce you to a provider, work together with your academic program's staff or department heads, connect you with your academic or financial aid advisors, and act as a central touch point for other Emory offices.

We can provide on-going case management, continuing to share resources or advocating for you to meet your evolving support needs.

We serve as a resource for faculty, staff, families and students so student issues are being addressed in timely and effective manner. We aim to develop an environment where everyone within the campus community understands their responsibility in noticing the well-being of those around them.
